VDOT AND CLARK/SHIRLEY PRESENTED: ROUTE 28 PROJECT - PHASE II
PRESENTED TO: THE ROUTE 28 TAX DISTRICT COMMERCIAL PROPERTY OWNERS

On October 23, 2002, the Route 28 Landowners' Advisory Board and the Route 28 District Commission welcomed representatives from both VDOT and Clark/Shirley who presented an overview of the project including:

1. A summary of the Comprehensive Agreement,
2. The overall scope and schedule of the project, and
3. The implementation of the construction phase.

Topics discussed included the right-of-way acquisition, utility relocation, construction coordination and communication with the landowners. A question and answer session followed the presentation.

Note: This informational meeting was an overview of the project and was open to the landowners within the Route 28 Tax District. The VDOT and Clark/Shirley Team plan to continue to coordinate with both landowners and the general public over the course of this 4-year project through a proactive public involvement program.
